Dallas Cowboys: David Irving facing suspension, appeal filed

Stop me if you’d heard this one before…a Dallas Cowboys defender faces a suspension for the first four games of the regular season due to drug related issues. Can you guess who it is? No, it’s not Randy Gregory. He’s already suspended for the year. Nope, it’s not DeMarcus Lawrence either. Cornerback Orlando Scandrick? Rolando McClain? Wrong. But a good try.

This go around it’s defensive end David Irving as the never-ending carousel of drug-related suspensions continues to turn in Dallas.

According to Mike Fisher of CBS DFW, the 23-year old Irving is a facing the four-game suspension due to a failed a drug test for supplements, thus violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
