Cowboys OT Chaz Green believes he's put a regrettable 2017 behind him. Dehydration struggles, however, are another story.

OXNARD, Calif. -- Chaz Green hasn't caught many breaks of late, but the Cowboys offensive lineman believes he's put a regrettable 2017 behind him and is ready to contribute if needed.

Green has worked exclusively at second-team offensive tackle throughout training camp practices, even though the Cowboys' guard depth took a hit last week when veteran backup Marcus Martin was placed on the injured reserve list because of a torn ligament in his right big toe.

Green has had to pick himself up off the pavement after a disastrous November game at Atlanta last season. Green started at left tackle in place of Pro Bowler Tyron Smith against the Falcons as the one largely responsible for Adrian Clayborn setting a team record with six sacks.
