Cowboys DE David Irving Officially Suspended 4 Games For PED Violation

The NFL has officially suspended Cowboys DE David Irving four games for violating league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy, according to David Moore.

Irving’s PED suspension stems from him taking a supplement that he had a marketing deal with. He was appealing the case, but will now be out until early October.

Irving, 23, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State back in 2015. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later added to the Chiefs’ practice squad.

The Cowboys signed him to their active roster just a few weeks into the 2015 season and he’s been with them ever since.
