FRISCO, Texas -- In Jason Garrett’s world, Sunday was just another day. To the fans of the Dallas Cowboys it was the day their team was guaranteed of at least one playoff game.
With the Washington Redskins' loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Sunday, the Cowboys earned their second playoff trip in the last three years. Add to that the New York Giants' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with a win against the Giants at MetLife Stadium on Dec. 11.
If the Seattle Seahawks lose tonight to the Carolina Panthers, the Cowboys can also clinch a first-round bye with a win against the Giants but not home-field advantage.
