Looking into Friday’s Day 2 forecast, Cowboys VP Stephen Jones basically said what was going to happen on Thursday night.
He said there were a lot of cornerbacks still available and hinted strongly the Cowboys would take one on Friday.
How about two?
The Cowboys picked up both Chidobe Awuzie (Colorado) and Jourdan Lewis (Michigan) in the second and third rounds, respectively.
And if that wasn’t enough, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made sure to squash a budding rumor that Orlando Scandrick was being shopped in a potential trade.
“Absolutely not. That’s completely erroneous,” Jones said.
