Bill Parcells: Cowboys were right to sit Tony Romo, but 'I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in Dallas'

You can call Bill Parcells the man who discovered Tony Romo. Parcells was the Cowboys coach who gave Romo the starting nod over Drew Bledsoe in 2006.

And now he's saying he agrees with the Cowboys' decision to sit Romo for surging rookie quarterback Dak Prescott.

In an interview with California's 95.7 The Game, Parcells said there's no way you can interrupt the chemistry the team has built with Prescott under center to sub Romo back in now that he's healthy again.

"I do agree with what Dallas did," Parcells told the station. "They're on a good roll.
