Agent for Cowboys DE Ken Boatright: 'Fortunately it appears' he 'should be OK'

OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys reserve defensive end Kenneth Boatright was taken to the hospital Thursday and should be OK, according to Boatright’s agent, Brett Tessler.

Tessler tweeted out updates about Boatright’s condition Friday afternoon.

Boatright was injured during Thursday’s practice late in one-on-one drills while going up against Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said.

Boatright suffered a neck injury and was strapped on a board on the field before lifted onto a stretcher. He was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital and underwent a CT scan.
