Yohan Cabaye says he is keen to enter the world of management as soon as possible after announcing his retirement from professional football, as he trains to become a sporting director.
“I want to do courses, like coaching licenses,” he said, in an exclusive interview in the Palace matchday programme. “There’s a school in France on how to be a sporting director that I’m interested in. I want to go back to school, now to learn and try to stay involved in the game.
“I’m excited to learn about how to develop a football club’s philosophy from the Academy to the youth teams up to the senior players.
