West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace: Mark Noble penalty on stroke of half-time cancels out Christian Benteke's opener as spoils are shared in London derby

West Ham and Crystal Palace shared the spoils at the London Stadium as goals from Mark Noble and Christian Benteke took both sides one step further away from the Premier League relegation zone.

Despite West Ham enjoying a couple of early chances through Javier Hernandez and new boy Joao Mario, it was Palace who took the lead through Benteke's header 24 minutes in.

The home side were back level on the stroke of half-time though, as former Hammer James Tomkins brought Javier Hernandez down in the box, before Noble stepped up to net his 50th goal for the club.
