Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton: Adam Armstrong sends the visitors through after Odsonne Eduoard's early opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Saints' James Ward-Prowse

Southampton's Adam Armstrong scored in the middle of the second half to seal their place in the FA Cup Fourth Round at the expense of Premier League rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The first-half of proceedings finished level, after striker Odsonne Eduoard's opener for the hosts was cancelled out eight minutes before half-time by the Saints' James Ward-Prowse.

Armstrong chased down a back-pass, took it off goalkeeper Vicente Guaita before taking a touch and placing into the goal.
