SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Creighton women's tennis team claimed a 6-1 neutral site victory against Western Illinois on Saturday morning at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
The Bluejays improved to 2-3 this spring, while the Leathernecks fell to 1-3.
Creighton started the match with 6-3, 6-2 wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles slots, respectively. and improved to 2-3 as the top doubles pair, and the duo and moved to 2-1 as the No. 2 doubles team.
The Bluejays continued their winning ways with straight-sets victories at the top three singles positions to secure the overall dual.
