LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Creighton softball team dropped a midweek battle at Kansas, 8-0, in six innings in Lawrence, Kan. on Tuesday night.
The loss drops the Bluejays to 11-7, while the Jayhawks improved to 13-5-1 overall with the win.
Kansas jumped on the Bluejays from the start, plating three runs in the bottom of the first innings on three hits and a pair of Creighton errors. Reaching on a fielding error and a single, Anyslee Linduff and Lyric Moore came around to score the first runs of the game on an RBI single by Campbell Bagshaw.
