OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton fifth-year senior Madeline Vejvoda has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week after guiding the Bluejays to a series win over BIG EAST front runner Villanova this past weekend in Omaha.
This marks the first BIG EAST weekly honor of Vejvoda's career as she becomes the first Bluejays to earn BIG EAST Player of the Week honors since Kailey Wilson nabbed the final weekly honor of the 2022 season.
