NEW YORK, NY -- Creighton basketball center Justin Patton has won BIG EAST Freshman of the Week accolades for the second straight week, the league announced on Monday, Dec. 5th.
Patton averaged 16.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocked shots per game on 82.4 percent shooting from the field as Creighton posted a pair of double-digit wins over the defending champions from the Mid-American Conference Tournament (Buffalo) and regular-season (Akron).
Patton started his week by becoming just the third Creighton freshman in the last 25 years to post a double-double, as he had 21 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and a steal in a win vs.
