Winter Park, Fla. -- Led by a game-high 21 points from senior Audrey Faber, the Creighton women's basketball team earned a share of the Florida Sunshine Classic Championship on Friday, Dec. 21 with a 75-55 win over Vanderbilt.
The win moved the Bluejays to 6-5 at the end of the non-conference portion of their schedule, while Vanderbilt fell to 4-8 overall.
Creighton returns to the hardwood on Saturday, Dec. 29 as the Bluejays open BIG EAST play at DePaul. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 pm tip and will be carried on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
