Indianapolis, Ind. -- Creighton Baseball continued to stay atop the BIG EAST Conference with a sweep of Butler in a doubleheaders on Saturday, May 8. The Bluejays took the opening game 11-10 (7), then posted an 8-2 win in the nightcap.
Creighton moved to 19-9 on the season and 11-2 in BIG EAST action with a pair of wins on Saturday. Butler, meanwhile, fell to 10-19 overall and 4-9 in conference play.
Creighton and Butler are scheduled for another doubleheader on Sunday, with the first game set to begin at 10:00 am (CT).
