Texas State Falls 36-14 to Arkansas State

On a cold and dreary night in Bobcat Stadium a promising Senior Day for Texas State ended in a win and a championship title for Arkansas State. Injuries dotted the landscape for both teams.

The scoring was started by Arkansas State in the first quarter with running back Johnston White rushing for a six yard score. Another score wasn’t seen until the second quarter with Warren Wand getting a touchdown for the Red Wolves to up the lead to 13-0 as the point after attempt was blocked.

7:48 into the second quarter defensive end Chase Robinson was carted off the field due to a medical emergency, delaying the game 11 minutes.
