App State Grips Idaho in 37-19 Win

Appalachian State put it on the Idaho Vandals yesterday, working both the offense and defense perfectly to take a 37-19 win at home.

Mountaineers quarterback, Taylor Lamb passed for 220 yards and running back, Jalin Moore carried the ball 23 times for a total 375 yards. In the game preview I said App State would go for 375+ yards this game and they came through right on the number. Running back, Marcus Cox sat out for this fourth consecutive game, but the offense seemed to fare well despite his absence. App State scored 13 unanswered points in the third quarter, including freshman DB, Clifton Duck’s amazing 44-yard interception return.
