Goalkeeper Steve Clark will make his 80th straight start for Crew SC tonight against Real Salt Lake, a streak that is by far the longest in team history.
Clark has played every minute of every Major League Soccer game since he signed with the Crew before the 2014 season, and his workload is increasing.
Clark has made 44 saves in 11 games, a 4.0 saves-per-game average that ranks third in MLS. He is on pace to finish the season with 136 saves, far more than the 123 that league leader Josh Saunders made for New York City FC last season.
