It’s been three and a half weeks since Columbus Crew SC last played a game on the friendly field of MAPFRE Stadium. In that match, the Black & Gold continued the team’s dominance at home with a 3-0 win over the Seattle Sounders.
Crew SC return to MAPFRE Saturday night, welcoming in the Montreal Impact, knowing that three points is becoming a must after picking up nothing in four of its last five matches.
This will be the second meeting of the 2017 season between Columbus and Montreal. The two sides met on May 13 in a thrilling 3-2 victory for the Black & Gold on the road.
