Major League Soccer released the team of the week this afternoon and, to no one’s surprise, Justin Meram found his way onto the squad. The midfielder had a great week, starting in all three Columbus Crew SC matches scoring three goals and talling one assist in his 263 minutes of action this week.
Most notably, Meram made a herculean-effort in the dying moments of the game against the Montreal Impact, his third in eight days, to seal the victory for the Black & Gold.
Meram and the rest of Crew SC will travel to Foxboro, Massachusetts on May 21st for a rematch with the New England Revolution.
