After Columbus Crew SC’s 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union Saturday night, Justin Meram was a happy player.
His first goal in nearly two months, his ninth of the Major League Soccer season, was enough to earn all three points for the Black & Gold and put Meram in a good mood postgame.
But he hasn’t been too pleased as of late.
The full MLS All-Star Game roster was announced on Tuesday and Meram, who has been one of if not the best wingers in the league over the first half of the year, did not make the team.
