Lukas Sedlak, former 5th round draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets, plays a strong defensive game from the center position. He played as the Cleveland Monster’s top defensive center last season, registering 14-4-18 in 54 games, along with 27 PIM. In the playoffs, he scored nearly a point per game en route to the Monsters winning the Calder Cup.
Sedlak has never been one to light the lamp. His value comes from his strong two way play. He has yet to be called up to Columbus in three pro seasons, and was brought back on just a one year deal for the 2016-17 season.
