Game Preview: Blue Jackets, Ducks meet for second time

The Anaheim Ducks embarked on a season-long seven-game road trip on Monday in Pittsburgh against the Penguins. It didn't go well for the Ducks, who saw their six-game winning streak snapped by a 6-2 loss to the Penguins.

The Ducks bounced back the following evening and defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-1, thanks to two goals from Rickard Rakell. In that game, Chris Stewart scored on a penalty shot, Andrew Cogliano scored the empty-netter and goaltender Frederik Andersen made 28 saves to seal the Ducks’ victory.

The Ducks arrived in Columbus mid-week, and will be looking to rack up two more points and continue plugging along in the Western Conference playoff race, where they currently sit third in the Pacific Division.
