The Jackets are oh-for-three against the Islanders this season. Can they finally break through?
Don't look now, Tankers, but Columbus is 4-1-1 in their last five, and 6-3-1 in their last 10. Don't worry, they're still officially in last place, and they have beaten a lot of crappy teams in that stretch. The Islanders are decidedly not crappy.
That said, the improved play of late got a couple of people thinking about the comparisons of a young goaltender making his NHL debut in a tight injury spot and impressing. Obviously, a miracle playoff run is not in the card this season.
