David Clarkson activated off injured reserve, Justin Falk assigned to Lake Erie (AHL)


COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing David Clarkson off Injured Reserve and assigned defenseman Justin Falk to Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Clarkson, 31, missed the past 21 games since suffering an upper body injury on Jan. 2 vs. the Washington Capitals. He has registered a goal and an assist for two points with 13 penalty minutes in 18 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The Toronto, Ontario native has posted 113-85-198 and 982 penalty minutes in 565 career games with the Blue Jackets, Toronto Maple Leafs and New Jersey Devils in 10 NHL seasons.
