Last night was a blast and then it was crap and then it was a blast again. By jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, the Columbus Blue Jackets showed that they wouldn’t go down without a fight. The Jackets are a team that is known for their grit, hustle, and perseverance. It definitely showed in Tuesday’s win.
The second period was not as fun, in my opinion. Despite Markus Nutivaara scoring his first Stanley Cup Playoffs goal of his career in his first SCP game, the Penguins stormed back to pull within one goal.
