BlueJackets.com spoke with the 23-year-old defenseman about his new start with the Blue Jackets, and what he brings to the organization.
CBJ.com: When did you find out you had been traded?
Harrington: I found out by phone call. Toronto's GM [Lou Lamoriello] called me minutes or seconds after the trade went through. I was just sitting at home not doing too much, and then I got the phone call. I found out, I guess, whenever you guys probably did.
CBJ.com: Who did you speak to from the Blue Jackets organization once you had found out?
