COLUMBUS, OH -- During tonight’s Experience Columbus Annual Meeting and 75th Anniversary Celebration held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the Columbus Blue Jackets received an EXPY Award for the organization’s presentation of the 2015 National Hockey League All-Star Celebration. The EXPYs recognize “outstanding contributions by businesses, groups, organizations or individuals to the local hospitality industry and overall visitor experience."
Under the direction of the host Blue Jackets and the League, and supported by numerous community and corporate partners, NHL All-Star Weekend attracted tens of thousands of visitors to central Ohio, sparked significant economic and community impact, and garnered international exposure for Columbus.
