The Columbus Blue Jackets are well represented in the World Cup of Hockey. In the preliminary rosters Seth Jones, Brandon Saad and Ryan Murray were named to Team North America. While goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was named to Team Russia.
Jack Johnson finished the 2015-2016 season with 14 points in 60 games with his season coming to a rough end with him finishing on the Injured Reserved list. Johnson had a steep decline in production last season but has been a staple on the Blue Jackets blue line for the past few seasons.
