2017 Draft Prospect Profile: Cody Glass is a fast riser

The Columbus Blue Jackets have had a good record with prospects from the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, most notably centers like Brandon Dubinsky and Ryan Johansen. One of the more intriguing prospects in this draft is another Portland center, Cody Glass. After just 27 points in his first full season in the WHL, Glass exploded for 94 points this season (32 goals, 64 assists) and another 9 points in 11 playoff games. At 6’2” he has ideal size for a center but at 179 pounds he will still need to fill out before reaching the NHL.

He would not be ready for the NHL in 2017-18, so he would be an ideal draft pick for Columbus.
