There appears to be a solution to the obvious scheduling conflict Saturday between the Colorado State football team’s season opener at Hughes Stadium and New Belgium’s annual Tour de Fat stop in Old Town.
A free shuttle bus service between Old Town Fort Collins and Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium has been arranged for Saturday’s events through a partnership between the CSU athletics department and organizers of the Tour de Fat event.
“There is a great deal of excitement around our home-opening football game on Saturday,” said Ben Lorenzen, CSU’s senior associate A.D. for sales, marketing and communications.
