FORT COLLINS — Ellen Nystrom and Elin Gustavsson have finally played their final game at Colorado State.
The two Swedish seniors saw their storied careers at CSU come to a disappointing end Sunday with a 58-57 loss to UC Davis in the second round of the WNIT.
After leading the Rams to four straight regular season championships, they finish with a record of 104-27, matching the legendary Becky Hammon for the most wins in program history.
"We were so close," said Nystrom, the team's all-time leader in assists. "Of course we wanted to win the whole thing.
