The Colorado State University men’s golf team finished the 2022 Mountain West Men’s Golf Championship tournament in style this past weekend. The Rams finished as runners-up on the team leaderboard, while junior transfer Connor Jones played three incredible rounds to take home the individual conference title. Jones became the third Ram in history to win the individual Mountain West title.
From the first round, the Rams came out swinging hard and far. As a team, the Rams recorded the best score in the first round, shooting a collective 280 to take first place and a lead over the University of Nevada, Reno after one round.
