Donnelly suspended from team activities
Redshirt freshman linebacker Hunter Donnelly has been suspended from all team activities, Colorado State University officials said, until further review of an incident Wednesday that led to his on-campus arrest.
Donnelly was arrested by campus police for allegedly violating a protection order with a domestic violence enhancer at 8:01 p.m., according to the arrest report.
The protection order filed by another student was signed on April 10 and served to Donnelly on April 12. It stemmed from a five-month relationship he had with a CSU student in which she claimed he had grabbed her twice, leaving bruises, and had made threats he was going to kill himself after the breakup, making derogatory remarks toward and about her and that he was going to file theft charges against her for a watch he had given her as a gift.
