Rockies’ minor-league system having great success

Players in the Rockies’ farm system are on the move.

The advancement of players at the top of the minor leagues to the parent Rockies is perhaps the strongest core that’s moved up in the team’s history.

Shortstop Trevor Story has been an impact player all season this year and will be considered for rookie of the year in the National League. Tyler Anderson and Carlos Estevez have made their major-league debuts and become mainstays on the pitching staff, Anderson in the starting rotation and Estevez as the closer. Outfielder David Dahl is the newest of the new major-leaguers, moving up from Triple-A Albuquerque this week, and has made an immediate impact for the Rockies.
