Rockies, KOA NewsRadio extend contract through 2021

John Leyba, The Denver Post)

Rockies baseball is sticking with KOA. And vice versa.

The Colorado Rockies and iHeartMedia Denver have agreed to a five-year contract extension. That will keep Rockies baseball on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM through the 2021 season.

Jack Corrigan and Jerry Schemmel will continue as voices of the team. Beyond game broadcasts, shows like “Rockies All-Access” and “Rockies Q&A” will continue.

The KOA-Rockies partnership has been in place since the ball club’s inaugural season in 1993.

While KOA is the flagship station, the Rockies’ Spanish-language radio partner is KNRV 1150 AM.
