Rockies’ Charlie Blackmon won the NL batting title, get over it.

Yesterday's game result didn't much matter, and as such it looks more similar to a game taking place at Salt River Fields or Camelback Ranch than Coors Field. But it was still a momentous day, despite some curmudgeonly sportswriters assertions, the Rockies have their 12th batting title winner in franchise history in Charlie Blackmon.

No one is going to deny that hitting at Coors Field is an advantage for winning the batting title. However, the fact that so much attention is drawn to it while simultaneously ignoring the affect that other parks have on stats is hypocrisy.
