Colorado has placed left-handed reliever Mike Dunn has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with back spasms. Dunn has not pitched since appearing against the San Francisco Giants on April 22. The move is likely retroactive to Sunday, April 23.
Dunn has been one of the reasons for Colorado’s bullpen resurgence in 2017. In his first season with the Rockies, the 31-year-old southpaw has posted a 2-0 mark and has allowed one run in 7.2 innings of work stretching over 10 games. He has also struck out 10 while walking just two batters.
