The Rockies will send four PuRPs and Matt Carasiti to the AFL this year.
The Colorado Rockies will send five prospects, including No. 11 PuRP Tommy Murphy, to the Arizona Fall League next month, Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday.
Murphy headlines a group that also includes fellow PuRPs Jordan Patterson, Sam Moll and Carlos Estevez. Matt Carasiti rounds out Colorado's announced participants in the AFL, which begins play on Oct. 13. No. 2 PuRP David Dahl was rumored to be headed to Arizona, as well, but his name wasn't included in the initial group.
