Colorado Rockies 6 - Baltimore Orioles 3: Rockies ride strong start from Chad Bettis to victory

The Rockies also handed Chris Tillman his first loss at home since last season.

The Colorado Rockies rode Chad Bettis' strong start to a 6-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night.

Thanks to a six inning quality start from Chad Bettis and some well-timed two out hitting from Carlos Gonzalez and Trevor Story, the Rockies were able to get the win in the second game of their series in Baltimore.

Things started off quietly for both teams offensively until the Rockies struck first in the top of the third, when they loaded the bases for Carlos Gonzalez, who drove in the team's first two runs with a ground rule double.
