The 2021 Home Run Derby is nearly upon us. This year’s competition is lining up to be one of the best in recent memory. It’s going to have everything you could ever want from a Home Run Derby: Coors Field, balls not stored in the humidor and the league’s best home run hitters, which includes a pitcher for the first time ever in the competition’s 36 year history.
It also includes the hometown favorite Trevor Story. Story will be the thirteenth player in Rockies history to compete in the Home Run Derby. No Rockies player has ever won the competition.
