PHOENIX — A sly grins turns into a knowing chuckle when Troy Tulowitzki talks about his lack of home runs this season.
"I can't force it," the star shortstop said Friday before the Rockies played the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. "I wish I could just come to the ballpark and say, 'I feel good, this is the start of something special.'
"But it doesn't work that way. When I feel that power stroke at the plate, when I feel it in (batting practice), then hopefully that transfers to the game. Hopefully that is right around the corner.
