Rockies skip Jorge De La Rosa because of cut finger (The Associated Press)

CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Rockies scratched left-hander Jorge De La Rosa from his scheduled start against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night because of a cut on his pitching hand that has been bothering him.

Colorado called up right-hander Chris Rusin from Triple-A Albuquerque to replace him. Rusin was claimed off waivers from the Cubs last September. He was 3-2 with a 6.29 ERA in six starts and one relief appearance in the minors.

The Rockies opened a roster spot by optioning reliever Yohan Flande, who was called up this month and gave up six runs in 7 1/3 innings.
