Rockies 6, Giants 4: Parade of doubles powers Rockies to win

The Rockies hit seven doubles en route to a win over the Giants in the series opener.

Rafael Ynoa's pinch-hit double in the bottom of the sixth gave the Rockies the lead for good in a 6-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants.

Six Rockies had multi-hit games, including second baseman DJ LeMahieu who was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, as the team collected 15 hits total on the night, more than half of which went for extra bases.

All of the offense was in support of starter Eddie Butler, who was solid but unspectacular on the night, allowing four runs on nine hits in six innings with a pair of walks and three strikeouts.
