Colorado Rockies closer Adam Ottavino is out for the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery earlier this year. At the time of the injury, Ottavino was the most exciting pitcher in the Rockies organization and looked to be establishing himself as one of the most dominant closers in baseball.
Unfortunately, his 2015 campaign was cut short but that doesn’t mean his work schedule has -- in fact, quite the opposite.
