GK Tim Howard registered his third shutout of the season, and first since the 1-0 win against Sporting KC on May 23. Named to the MLS Team of the Week bench after helping the Rapids earn their second road draw in the last three contests, making six saves at FC Dallas. Howard will be making his 16th appearance, all starts, of the season.
DEF Marlon Hairston will make his first start at right back in almost two months. Hairston went the distance in the backline in the 3-1 loss against LA Galaxy on June 21.
