Washington Huskies rout Colorado Buffaloes in Pac-12 championship game

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Sefo Liufau jogged up and down the sideline. He slowly churned his legs on the stationary bike at the end of the bench. He retreated to the locker room, trying to stay warm and give himself one more chance to leave a legacy.

Colorado’s senior quarterback had been knocked out of the game on the Buffaloes’ first drive of the Pac-12 championship game against Washington here Friday night at Levi’s Stadium with an apparent injury to his right leg. His first attempt to rise from a crushing sack on CU’s first drive ended with him back on his knees, crumpled in pain.
