For the second time in as many years, an NFL Hall of Famer is coming to Boulder to coach the Colorado Buffaloes. Super Bowl champion and Tampa Bay Buccaneers legendary defensive tackle Warren Sapp is officially joining Deion Sanders’ staff for the upcoming 2024 season.
Sapp told Rich Eisen that his intention was to join Coach Prime’s staff in 2024 during a show in late September, but nothing was set in stone and Deion never spoke on the matter. On Tuesday night, Coach Prime finally made it official by telling Mark Johnson that Sapp is in fact coming to CU next season.
