BOULDER — Andy Schlichting, who has served as the sports information director at Metro State University in Denver since 2009, has been named assistant SID at the University of Colorado, the school announced Monday.
He will join the Buffalo staff on October 19 and will coordinate all publicity and communication needs for CU’s lacrosse, soccer and tennis teams, in addition to helping out with most of CU’s 17 intercollegiate varsity programs.
“We’re very pleased to be able to add someone with the kind of experience that Andy has,” said David Plati, CU’s Associate Athletic Director for Sports Information.
